Founder

Hi, I’m Christine

Born and raised in London by my Ghanaian mother, I balance two worlds—nurse by day, creative by night.

In 2019, I launched with a single piece—a silver brooch inspired by the Gye Nyame adinkra symbol. The response was immediate and positive. People didn’t just see jewellery; they saw their heritage beautifully reimagined. That’s when I knew this was something truly meaningful.

Plan B, not A

“Jewellery wasn’t part of my plan.”

Christine Afia Serwaah-Amponsah, Founder & CEO

Jewellery wasn’t part of my plan. Fashion has always been my first love, but the more I explored the industry, the more I noticed what was missing—African-inspired jewellery that truly embodied elegance and sophistication. Pieces that didn’t just reference our heritage, but elevated it with the luxury it deserves.

What sets us apart

Our twist

Unlike the simpler pieces commonly available, I envisioned something different—jewellery that elevated African motifs through luxurious elements like gemstones.

That’s how CASA London was born—where African artistry meets contemporary luxury.

The name

CASA means home?

CASA is both personal and purposeful. It’s derived from my initials—Christine Afia Serwaah-Amponsah. But it holds a deeper meaning: “KASA” in Twi, Ghana’s most widely spoken language, means “to speak.”

Every piece we create is designed to do just that: speak, tell stories, and celebrate heritage.

What’s next

More to come

Each CASA London creation is more than an accessory—it’s a narrative, designed to honour cultural heritage and timeless elegance.

But the vision goes far beyond jewellery. Stay with us—the story is just beginning.
